Silent Rose

Once, the heart of the water was silent. The master held his breath and let the colors flow onto the water. Each drop spread across the surface like a rippling prayer.
Blue reminded him of the sky. Red whispered the warmth of the heart. Green murmured the patience of the earth.

And for a moment, the water forgot the wind. In that instant, six roses came together; they had neither roots nor thorns. They simply rested on the water with a delicate balance.

When the ebru was complete, the master withdrew his hands, but the water was still breathing. For in that moment, it was no longer just a paper painting — it had become a story born from the water itself.
